Coefficients of Wetness (W)

Defines the estimated probability for which a species is likely to occur in wetland soils. Negative signs (-) indicating a wet tendency and positive signs (+) indicating a dry tendency.

This W coefficient originated from the Michigan Floristic Quality Assessment, 1996.
